I’m finding that a lot of the visitors of OTH don’t really stick around much and I believe that this is directly related to a few thing: For starters there is an obvious lack of content on the site aside from the comic. The second thing is the way the page is set up. I’m not sure exactly how I can fix that, but I’m sure there is a way to tweak the way the page is laid out so that the blog portion is more visible. I entered the Escapist Magazine webcomic contest and while I’m most likely not going to win, it will at least give me 2 weeks off as I have four comics in the bank pending the outcome of the contest. If I don’t win, I’m going to take those couple weeks off to tweak the page and the format of the comic itself. With that said, I’m going to make a valiant effort to post more so that there is fresh content on the page between comics. Also, I won’t open up the forums until I see more interaction in the comment section and I notice a more sustained vistor rate, no need to combat forum spam unless there is a solid userbase here. As always I am dedicated to continually increasing the quality of the comic itself and I’m open to hear your suggestions.

Unfortunately I will not be doing any comics this week, I know it sucks. I’m working on another project that needs my full attention until it’s finished. I should be back to normal comic posting on next Tuesday, in the mean time sift through archives there are 58 comics in there!
